The 1st trip with a baby or toddler can be overwhelming and cause a lot of anxiety.  You might ask yourself is it safe? How will they do in a new place with new food? How will they manage being out of their routine? Is it safe? If this is you,
the these are the reasons why I feel an all inclusive is the best option:

Everything is at your finger tips:

With everything being included, there is no need to leave the resort if you didn’t feel you wanted to or could handle it on the first go. You’ll have a pool, hotel room for naps, food, drinks, beach, all at your finger tips.

Divide & Conquer:

If you’re going with a spouse or another support person and have multiple kids, you can take turns. If one kid needs to go back to the room to nap and the other wants to stay at the pool, you can easily do so and switch if needed.

Childcare:

For parents comfortable with this option, most all inclusive hotels have a kids club and babysitting services that you can arrange for if you wanted some time to yourself. Also, you can grab dinner, see a show and not even have to leave the resort if you don’t feel comfortable being too far.

Access to food:

Many all inclusive hotels have room service or different restaurants that are open early in the morning and late at night. This makes it easy to access food without having to leave the resort. Especially for those fussy evenings where you can’t imagine taking your little one to a restaurant or getting them dressed to leave the hotel.

Medical Care:

A child getting sick overseas is a parent’s biggest fear when traveling. Many all inclusives have doctors or nurses on the premises you can go see.

Time Change:

If you’re from the East Coast like us, we usually don’t have to deal with more than a 1hr time change for the Caribbean which is less change for your little one. If you are from somewhere further, you having the ability to have food, pool, and beach right outside your door either early in the morning or food and family entertainment late in the evenings which allows you to not have to switch up your normal schedule too much.
