What to Look For In a Hotel When Traveling with Your Toddler
When searching for hotels to stay at with your toddler, it can be overwhelming to think about everything you'll need but here are some of my must haves when looking for a hotel to stay at with my toddler

Breakfast Included:

My daughter will only eat bacon or sausage so it becomes a waste of money to go out for breakfast and pay an entire meal for her so I LOVE hotels with breakfast included. It’s also nice for us adults because we can fill up on it and usually don’t get too hungry at lunch time. This helps with keeping cost down and it’s 1 less thing to budget for.
Indoor pool:
I love an indoor pool because we can use it if it’s a bad weather day, or if one parent isn’t feeling well, the other parent can just take the kids to swim.
At least 1 restaurant in the hotel /walking distance/ room service:
Especially when we travel overseas and there is a time change, I notice that either night 3-4, my little one is pooped and getting dressed and out the door to go to a restaurant just doesn’t happen. I always make sure the hotel either has a restaurant in it, has one really close by or offers room service for those nights when getting dressed and out for dinner isn’t happening.

Mini Fridge:
If you have a toddler who still drinks milk throughout the day or at night, this is a must have. It’s also handy to bring leftovers back to the room so you can heat up for their snack or a meal later on.
Microwave:

We love having this option for heating up leftovers overs for our toddler!
Bathtub

I don't have to say much about this one because if you're a parent, you know it's 1000% easier when traveling to have a bathtub over a shower.

Early check-in and late check out:
This is great to call and ask about before you book the hotel. Many hotels will allow this if there are rooms available and some might charge a small fee for these options.
